Duke is a very cute 12 week old Springer puppy. Duke was an unsold Christmas puppy who I was lucky enough to adopt from NESSR. Right from day one he has been a bold, outgoing puppy who very much knows his own mind. His favourite playmate is currently Bailey who he pesters relentlessly, he also likes playing with Buzz who is rather less tolerant of puppy biting and far rougher than Bails!
Duke's pastimes seem to involve chewing, jumping off the sofa, climbing up my legs and more chewing, he is also quite a noisy little man who is quick to shout up at the injustice of having his latest 'chew toy' removed.
Duke has just started puppy training, already understands the clicker and has a lovely puppy retrieve. He plays tuggy enthusiastically - actually he does everything enthusiastically - so I am hoping he will make a nice little agility dog. The plan is to also do some gun dog training with him too, I think he is going to need to be kept pretty busy!
